This stair skirting is going to be mitred to both the risers and treads. It is also going to be mudded to the drywall under the stairs for a seamless transition and a perfect corner.

I’m excited to see how this looks after flooring!

Marking pieces in place is always going to be more accurate than using a tape. There is less chance for error this way
•
Using this method you can perfectly mark out your window sill and scribe it to your window while only making one trip to your cutting station (larger windows often times are not straight!)
